Prepare for the 2023 Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) code set updates that go into effect January 1, 2023. This webinar will address the new CPT® codes, deletions and revisions, and changes to coding guidelines for 2023 to assist CPT® users in correctly applying these changes. This update incorporates 393 changes with extensive revisions to the Evaluation and Management (E/M) Services codes and guidelines for:

  • Hospital Inpatient and Observation Care Services
  • Consultations
  • Nursing Facility Services
  • Emergency Department Services
  • Home and Residence Services
  • Prolonged Services

In addition, the annual CPT® update includes a new appendix and taxonomy for artificial intelligence applications and codes for reporting new medical techniques and technology.

Learning objectives:

  • Describe major changes to the CPT® code set that go into effect January 1, 2023.
