Being a direct support professional (DSP) can be hard work — mentally, physically, and emotionally. It’s important to recognize and support your DSPs throughout their tenure at your organization, especially if you want to retain them long term. With such a high turnover rate (national average is 45%), recognizing your staff’s hard work and ideas can improve retention and engagement more than you think.
Join us Wednesday, September 28 at 2 PM ET to hear John Nash, Executive Director of The Arc of North Carolina, discuss how recognizing DSPs is one small strategy that can have huge effects on your organization.
