COVID-19 has created many challenges for people with opioid use disorder (OUD), including those seeking medication-assisted treatment (MAT). As a result of these challenges, overdose deaths rose significantly in 2020.

This increase in overdose deaths highlights the need for providers and organizations to remain accessible and to continue to push for additional prevention and response activities. As we continue to navigate the pandemic, how can you help those seeking treatment get the help they need?

Join us Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 2 PM ET to hear Vicki Ittel, Ph.D., MBA from Relias and Elizabeth Stanton, MD, MBA, DFAPA, FASAM from Partners Behavioral Health discuss emerging trends in medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder. During the webinar, you’ll learn:

  • The impact COVID-19 has had on opioid use disorder, including overdose deaths across the U.S.
  • Ways providers are using telehealth to reach clients and provide MAT
  • How the shift toward combining substances with opioids, including fentanyl, is impacting both providers and clients
